Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet over leather cap, before API, behind DW and flaming altar, (cf.S.2255, Calciati 58-9 [p.499-500], Cammann NN&M 53 No.3 [p.26], BMC 69 [p.121], SNG Cop. 299 [Pl.7], HGC 4, 763). Traces of golden red over light patination, nearly extremely fine and very rare.

Unusual in that this die has monogram of AN reversed, a similar specimen is noted in BMC.
