Head of the Apollo of Grynium to right, wearing laurel wreath with ends falling behind, rev. Apollo of Grynium wearing laurel wreath and himation standing to right, in right hand a patera, in left a laurel branch, two fillets attached, omphalos and amphora before, to left MURINAIWN , and monogram K A, all in laurel wreath, (Cf.Sear 4216 (p.388), Sacks 19.19 (same obverse die illustrated), [ANS Museum Notes No.30, 1985, p.33, Pl.5], Naville sale 16, July 3, 1933 lot 1372 [same dies], cf.SNG Delepierre 2560, cf.SNG Fitz. 4328, Seyrig Tresors 20,10, cf.BMC 12 [p.136]). Extremely fine and a very rare variety.
