Bare head of Augustus to right L & Y to left and right of head. rev. Two citheras (lyres), two plectra between and M to left A to right, all within circle, (S.97, Troxell 120.12b [same dies only one reported example], BMC 37a similar). Minor field marks, otherwise nearly very fine and very rare.

Ex Sotheby's London through Baldwins, May 28, 1987 (lot 87). Troxell knew of only 129 coins of Augustus struck for Masicytes from 71 obverse and 110 reverse dies.
