Cyprus, Cyprus, Salamis, Evagoras I, (c.411-374 B.C.), silver stater, 23mm, (10.74 g), obv. Herakles, naked, seated on a rock draped with a lion's skin to right, holding a club and a horn, rev. Goat recumbent to right on a dotted ground line, Cypriot PA on right, SI LE O above, SE in the exergue (S.-, Masson & Amandry, Notes de Numismatique Chypriote, VI-VIII, RN 1988, 1a-c, BMC -, SNG Cop. -, Tziambazis -, Roma E-Sale 4, 330 = G&M 207, 398). Toned, good very fine and very rare.
