Syria, Kingdom of, Antiochus VII, (138-129 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.20 g), Tyre mint, dated SE 182, issued 131-130 B.C., obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right, rev. eagle standing to left with closed wings on prow of galley, palm branch behind, Tyre monogram above club to left, year to right BPR , other letters in field, around BASILEWS ANTIOCOU , (cf.S.7094, SC.2109.10c, HGC 9, 1074, Newell Tyre 141). Light and attractively toned, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
