French Indochina Banque de l'Indo-Chine, Saigon 5 Piastres 6.3.1907 Pick 35 PMG About Uncirculated 55. Beautiful pastel blue ink is coupled with red text on this stunning banknote issued from Saigon. This type is certainly rare in all grades, but it is simply incredible in About Uncirculated condition. In fact, it is the second finest of only six notes graded in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging. Typical pinholes are mentioned for accuracy, but they do not detract from the overall visual appeal, which is leaps and bounds better than typically seen for Asian colonial notes of this era.
