The beautiful green $50 note from HSBC was printed in small batches and slowly released over a long period of time. This handsome example features the first date for the type which is seldom seen today. A manuscript signature at bottom left remains bold. This serial number pre-dates the examples issued by the Japanese during World War II. An ink stamp and minor rust are mentioned for accuracy. PMG mentions on the back of the third-party holder that the note has been "retouched".
