Malaya Board of Commissioners of Currency 10 Dollars 1.1.1940 Pick 1 KNB5a PMG About Uncirculated 55. This handsome purple $10 note is the only note from the series to have arrived in Malaya without incident, and it was officially issued. After Japanese forces defeated the British in Malaya, these notes were withdrawn and the red $10 was not issued until 1945. Only brief circulation is present on this excellent example.
