Straits Settlements Government of the Straits Settlements 1 Dollar 1.1.1925 Pick 9a KNB17a-c PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. Thomas de la Rue included a plethora of intricate detail and pretty designs on this small sized and popular note. Of the almost 560 notes dated 1925 that are recorded in the PMG Population Report, only 22 notes are Uncirculated. The colors and white borders are striking and significantly better than typically seen for the type. One of the best extant, this piece is downright rare in this impressive grade. Additionally, this note is the first in a terrific consecutive serial number pair offered in today's sale.
