This wonderful set of Vietnamese proofs was struck in the Soviet Union at the Leningrad Mint as gifts to the Vietnamese government. This listing contains all three pieces of the original set issued in 1989, and each coin displays deep mirrored fields and frosted devices. Not released for circulation, each commemorative is struck in .900 silver, as opposed to the base metal circulation strikes released to the general public.
