Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, Nike in outstretched right hand crowning royal name, resting left arm on shield decorated with gorgoneion head boss, transverse spear beyond; herm left in outer left field, ΠHY monogram in inner left field. Thompson -, cf. 57 (no herm), 58 (ΠHYΩ monogram). Müller -, cf. 90 (ΠHYΩ monogram). Boldly struck on bright flan, light toning throughout.
