Qing Dynasty. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding ("Three-Stamp Remittance") "Packsaddle" Sycee of 5-1/2 Taels ND (19th-20th Century), cf. Cribb-LXVI.I.811 (different weight), Assayer Mark A2. 55x37mm. 190.75gm. Cast at Shiyoufeng Bank, inspected by assayers Tong, She, and Zhou. Each of the three main stamps reads: "Shi You Feng Ji Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Shiyoufeng Bank, remittance bank fine silver), and the assayer stamps read: "Gong Gu Tong She Zhou Kan" (Inspected by public assayers Tong, She, and Zhou). Very nice, with well-applied stamps showing what appears to be some minor annealing flaws over the center. On the whole, the body of the ingot admits little evidence of circulation and no signs of test cuts.
