People's Republic 2 Mongo AH 27 (1937) MS63 NGC, Leningrad mint, KM10. A seldom seen minor of Mongolia rarely encountered coming to market, rising to prominence in recent memory and always accompanied by significant fanfare. To date, only six examples of this date have been certified by NGC and PCGS, the piece at hand remains tied for the finest with two others. A simple design decorated in waves of shimmering mint luster and nearly devoid of visual detractor. We note that an AU58 NGC example sold in September for a hammer price of $2,400 and anticipate greater levels of excitement for the present example.
