China
Qing Dynasty. Shangdong Xiaoyuanbao? ("Small Principal") Sycee of 1 Tael ND Certified MS60 by Gong Bo Grading, cf. Cribb-CXXVIII.C.323-325 (without added stamps). 27x16mm. 40.1gm. Stamped in two sections, reading: "Qing He" and "Bao." An interesting and very well-preserved small-sized ingot, displaying a pair of tiny added stamps to its surface. It seems likely that these may have been added later, as the casting technical seems identical to Cribb's class XXVIII, though this class largely is recorded with blank surfaces.
