Qing Dynasty. Wen Zong (Xian Feng) 100 Cash ND (1854-1855) Good XF, Kaifeng or other local mint (Henan Province), Hartill-22.848. 50mm. 55.01gm. Crisp and well-preserved with neatly arrayed characters suggesting production at the official Kaifeng mint. A lightening of the surface patina has produced a strong visual contrast with the dark characters, resulting in a very strong visual appeal.
