UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Circa 491-518. AV Solidus (21mm, 4.11 g, 5h). Imitating a 2nd officina Constantinople mint solidus of Anastasius I. Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear and shield decorated with horseman motif / Victory standing left, holding long, jeweled cross; star to right; B//CONOB. Cf.
