D N VALENS-P F AVG, pearl-diademed, consular bust of Valens left, draped in imperial mantle, mappa in right hand, scepter in left / VOTA PV-BLICA, Valentinian I and Valens seated facing on double throne, both nimbate, mappa in outer hand, short scepter in inner hand; kneeling captives facing each other in exergue between N-Θ. RIC IX 16b9.
