D N ARCAD-IVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Arcadius right, seen from front, spear in right hand, shield in left; manus Dei crowning him with wreath from left above / GLORIA RO-MANORVM, emperor standing facing, head left, grounded labarum in right hand, resting left hand on grounded shield; bound captive kneeling left at left, SMKB in exergue.
