Star or badge embroidered with paillettes, 97mm x 106mm, star with 8 rays with a cross within garter in centre, HONI SOIT QVMAL Y - PENST. Probably used as an ornament of a saddlecloth or shabrack.
Some paillettes with spots of verdigris, some restoration to threads, very fine.
