Medal commissioned by the Marquis of Branciforte in honor of King Carlos IV. One of the masterpieces of Gerónimo Antonio Gil (G.A. Gil signed under the shoulder pad), in which he engraved the equestrian statue that years later would be erected by Manuel Tolsá. Excellent details, minted in a silver planchet of 60 millimeters in diameter and 67.5 grams of weight. Cleaned.
