Grove D-UNCAT – Expedición a México Cerro Borrego, Puebla (1862-1863). AU. Elaborada en plata, diámetro de 12 milímetros de ancho y 14 milímetros de alto considerando el asa, muy buenos detalles, tonificada por ambas caras. Variedad no catalogada por Frank W. Grove en su libro Medals of Mexico Vol. III. Su símil en dicha publicación es el D-306 am en el que la leyenda dice CERRO BORRE pero sin punto. La gran diferencia con el tipo listado es que la leyenda NAPOLEON inicia pegado al busto a diferencia que la catalogada por Grove la N de Napoleón comienza en la punta de la Barba. La única que hemos visto

Made of silver, diameter 12 millimeters wide and 14 millimeters high considering the loop, very good details, toned on both sides. Variety not cataloged by Frank W. Grove in his book Medals of Mexico Vol. III. The simile of it in said publication is D-306 am in which the legend says CERRO BORRE but without a dot. The big difference with the listed type is that the NAPOLEON legend begins attached to the bust, unlike the one cataloged by Grove the N of Napoleon begins at the tip of the Beard. The only one we've seen.
