Orden Mexicana del Derecho y la Paz (1960). AU. Para el año de 1960 la Academia Mexicana de Derecho Internacional ya había dado señales de vida activa y sus miembros retomaban las iniciativas para darle forma legal en un proceso de constitución legal, el 5 de agosto de 1960 se acuerda una junta con el presidente Miguel Alemán, el expresidente Emilio Porte Gil y otros grandes juristas que compartían la idea de fundar legalmente la Academia donde los promotores de la reorganización señores Lic. Luís Quintanilla y Luís Gonzaga Sevilla, presentaron en la un proyecto de acta constitutiva, que se aprobó de inmediato y se dio el consentimiento para proceder a su desarrollo. A sugestión de los organizadores se acuerda, por último, instituir una condecoración, propia de la Academia, que sirviera para dar constancia de los méritos alcanzados por Académicos y como símbolo oficial de membresía, el diseño presenta al centro de sus rayos la figura geográfica de la República Mexicana y la mano del derecho que por su ciencia sostiene el mechón de la libertad y la paz. By 1960, the Mexican Academy of International Law had already shown signs of an active life and its members resumed the initiatives to give it legal form in a legal constitution process, on August 5, 1960 a meeting was agreed with President Miguel Alemán , the former president Emilio Porte Gil and other great jurists who shared the idea of legally founding the Academy where the promoters of the reorganization, Mr. Luís Quintanilla and Luís Gonzaga Sevilla, presented a draft charter, which was approved immediately and consent was given to proceed with its development. At the suggestion of the organizers, it was finally agreed to institute a decoration, typical of the Academy, which would serve to certify the merits achieved by Academics and as an official symbol of membership, the design presents at the center of its rays the geographical figure of the Mexican Republic and the hand of law that by its science supports the lock of freedom and peace.
