ARABIA, Northwestern. Lihyan. Circa 2nd-1st centuries BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 10.20 g, 9 h), imitating Athens. Devolved head ot Athena to right. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig; all within incuse square. Huth 39. SNG ANS 1453-1454 var. (bronze). Rare in silver. A beautiful piece, very well struck and unusually well preserved. Minor flan faults, otherwise, good very fine.
