PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy XII Neos Dionysos (Auletes), 80-58 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 12.85 g, 11 h), Alexandria, RY 14 = 68/7. Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis around neck. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΠTOΛEMAIOY / L IΔ - ΠA Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt. Noeske 340-1. SNG Copenhagen 383-5. Svoronos 1861. Somewhat rough and with a large flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
