BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Antialkidas, circa 130-120 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 2.41 g, 12 h), Indian standard, uncertain mint in Paropamisadai or Gandhara. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΝΙΚΗΦΟΡΟΥ / ΑΝΤΙΑΛΚΙΔΟΥ Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Antialkidas to right. Rev. 'Maharajasa jayadharasa Amtialkidasa' ('of Great King Antialkidas the Victory-bearer' in Kharoshti) Zeus seated facing slightly to left, holding Nike in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, forepart of elephant right; below throne, monogram.
