NORTHEAST GAUL. Ambiani. Circa 60-30 BC. Stater (Gold, 16 mm, 5.92 g), 'statére uniface' type. Irregular blank convex surface. Rev. Celticized horse galloping to right, horseman transformed into fibula-like figure; before, eye-shaped ornament; below horse, crescent above pellet. DT 240. LT 8710. Broken and glued, and with some scratches, otherwise, about very fine.
