BAHRAM KWSHAN MLKA ('Bahram Kushan King' in Pahlawi) Draped bust of Bahram I to left, wearing crown with lotus blossom. Rev. 'BWLZAWNDY YZDTY' ('Exalted God', in Pahlawi) Exalted God emerges from fire altar, holding wreath in his right hand and long scepter in his left. ANS Kushan 2365 (pictured on pl. 62 under 2366). Extremely rare with bust to left. Attractive earthen highlights on a dark patina. Very fine.
