HUNNIC TRIBES, Hephthalites. Drachm (Silver, 30 mm, 3.46 g, 3 h), imitating a drachm of the Sasanian King Peroz I (457/9-484) from Balkh, 6th century. Draped bust of Peroz I to right, wearing mural crown with korymbos set on crescent; in outer margin, four pellets. Rev. Stylized Sasanian fire altar flanked by two attendants. Göbl 287. Vondrovec Type 287. Minor flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
