Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.80 g, 1 h), mint in Northern Italy or travelling with Octavian in Illyricum, 35-34 BC. Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. IMP - CAE-SAR - DIVI•F Large and decorated round shield (or phiale) with central boss. BMC 309. Cohen 126. RIC 543a. Some scratches and the reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, about very fine.
