Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.51 g, 6 h), Rome, late 121-123. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG Laureate bust of Hadrian to right, with drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. P M TR P COS III Roma seated left on shield, holding Victory in her right hand and scepter in her left. BMC 139. Cohen 1103. RIC 77. RIC 542. Beautifully toned and with a fine portrait. Minor edge crack and the reverse struck from a slightly worn die, otherwise, good very fine.
