Commemorative Series, 330-354. Follis (Bronze, 14 mm, 1.40 g, 6 h), Rome, struck under Constantius II, circa 348. CONSTANTINOPOLIS Diademed and draped bust of Constantinopolis to right. Rev. P - R Pax standing front, head to left, holding olive branch in her right hand and transverse scepter in her left. RIC 106. Minor flan crack and with some edge filing, otherwise, very fine.


The edge of this piece was filed at a slight angle, indicating that it was once set in a ring, with the obverse looking outward.
