Constantine V Copronymus, with Leo IV, 741-775. Follis (Bronze, 18 mm, 2.64 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis, 751-circa 769. Crowned equal sized busts of Constantine V, bearded and on the left, and Leo IV, beardless and on the right, facing and wearing chlamys; between their heads, cross and pellet. Rev. Crowned bust of Leo III facing, wearing loros and holding cross potent on base in his right hand; all above a horizontal bar; below bar, large M between X and N. DOC 11. SB 1556. Rare. Some deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
