Rev. On the left, John II Comnenus standing facing, wearing crown and loros and holding globus cruciger in his left hand; on the right, the Virgin, wearing robes, crowning the emperor with her right hand and holding maphorion in her left; above, MΘ; in the field to left, Ιω / ΔЄC/ΠΟ/ΤΗ.
