Constantius II (?), 337-361. Seal (Lead, 17x22 mm, 6.55 g). Rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II (?) to left, holding Victory on globe in his right hand and spear over his left shoulder; breast plate decorated with gorgoneion and two wreaths. Unpublished in the standard references. A splendid Roman seal of Constantinian times with an exceptionally detailed imperial bust. The usual breakage on the channel mouths and minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
