Sasanian style bust to right; behind and before head, AFZUT GDH ('may his kingship increase' in Pahlawi); in outer margin, 'bism Allah' ('In the name of Allah' in Kufic) and MN (in Pahlawi). Rev. Bearded figure standing facing, placing both hands on sword in front of him; to left, name of the mint in Pahlawi and to right, date in Pahlawi; in outer margin, legend in Pahlawi. Cf. Gyselen, type 12 (reverse inner circle legends interchanged and with additional legend in the outer margin).
