ISLAMIC, Anatolia & al-Jazira (Post-Seljuk). Artuqids (Khartpert). Imad al-Din Abu Bakr, AH 581-600 / AD 1185-1203. Fals (Bronze, 22.5 mm, 5.10 g, 1 h). Diademed male head to left within beaded circle, with slight drapery on left shoulder. Rev. 'Malik al-umara / Abu Bakr bin / Qara Arslan / bin Artuq al-Na/sir li-din Allah' (in Kufic) in five lines. Spengler & Sayles 22. Rare. Some areas of weakness and with light deposits, otherwise, about very fine.
