KINGS OF MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes, 306-283 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 17.17 g, 5 h), Pella, circa 289-288. Diademed and horned head of Demetrios I to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Poseidon, nude, standing left, his right foot set on a rock, holding trident in his left hand and resting his right on his right thigh; to outer left, monogram. Newell 89 (obv. die LXXIX). Small flan fault on cheek, otherwise, very fine.
