KINGS OF MACEDON. Pyrrhos (of Epiros), 287-285 BC and 274-273 BC. AE (Bronze, 18 mm, 4.83 g, 9 h), Pella, circa 287-285. Macedonian shield with monogram of Pyrrhos on the boss. Rev. ΒΑ-ΣΙ Macedonian helmet; below, monogram; all within oak wreath. BMC (Thessaly) 37 var. (differing monogram). HGC 3.1, 272. SNG Alpha Bank 971. Light surface cracks on the obverse and somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
