AKARNANIA, Federal Coinage (Akarnanian Confederacy). Circa 350 BC. Triobol or Hemidrachm (Silver, 15 mm, 1.97 g, 3 h), Stratos. ΑΓΗ Forepart of the river-god Acheloos, in the form of a man-headed bull, to right. Rev. F - Κ[ΑΛΛΙΡΟΑ] within shallow incuse. BCD Akarnania 12 (same obverse die). Very rare. Somewhat granular, otherwise, about very fine.
