NORTHWEST GAUL. Aulerci Eburovices. Late 2nd to first half of 1st century BC. Half Stater (Gold, 17 mm, 2.71 g, 4 h), 'au sanglier' type. Celticized male head to left, with a boar standing left at his neck. Rev. Devolved charioteer driving cart to right; below, boar standing right; to right, pellet-in-annulet. DT 2402. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
