CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 370-355 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.62 g, 5 h). Bearded head of Pan with animal ears and a pug nose facing slightly to right. Rev. ΠANTI Lion crouching right within shallow circular incuse. HGC 7, 64. MacDonald 41. SNG BM Black Sea 862. SNG Stancomb 537-8. Very rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. The obverse struck slightly off center and with some minor porosity, otherwise, good very fine.
