CIMMERIAN BOSPOROS. Pantikapaion. Circa 370-355 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.45 g, 1 h). Head of a young satyr with animal ears to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΠΑΝT[I] Lion standing right, head reverted to left, raising his left forepaw; all within shallow circular incuse. HGC 7, 68. MacDonald 45. SNG BM Black Sea -. SNG Stancomb -. Very rare. Somewhat granular and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, nearly very fine.
