Venezuela. 1/2 bolivar. 1889. Caracas. (Km-Y21). Ag. 2,47 g. Slabbed by NGC as XF Details. Well detailed with limited actual wear on the raised devices and quite attractive despite mild wispy handling evidence in the fields accounting for the technical designation. The 3rd finest example of this very rare date seen by the cataloguer, long considered the "key" of the Republican regular coinage series of Venezuela.
