Kushan Empire, Vasishka (c. 247-67), gold Dinar, 7.85g, nimbate and crowned king standing left, making offerings at small altar left with garlanded trident above, holding standard right and wearing armour, Brahmi letters tha between legs, va su in right field, rev. Siva standing before bull Nandi, tamgha in field top left, unusual small beads surround figures on both sides (Cribb & Jongeward 1611 var; Göbl 624; MAC 3540), struck using crude dies, but good very fine.
