(x) Gupta Empire, Kumaragupta I (c. 414-455), gold Dinar, 8.24g, horseman type, nimbate king riding right on a high-stepping horse, holding a bow and sword, legend starting at one o'clock, guptakulavyomasasi jayatyajeyo jitamahendrah partly visible, rev. nimbate goddess seated on a wicker stool left feeding grapes to a peacock, she holds a long-stemmed lotus right, legend ajitamahendrah mostly off flan in right field (Kumar, Class III, var. F.1; Bayana, pl.XXIII), very fine, scarce.
