(x) Sikh Empire, Ranjit Singh (VS 1856-96; 1799-1839), Nanakshahi Rupee, Amritsar, VS 1871 (1814) (2 different dies), pipal leaf on reverse, the first with 'normal' legend arrangement, the second with two lines in text above leaf (Herrli 01.07.04, 01.08.04; Gurprit Singh, 01.38.01 01.39.01, KM 20.1), the first very fine, and rare, the second good with minor obverse edge fault, very fine and scarce (2) (Tikkanen 466, 467).
