Heraclius (610-641), AV Solidus, AD 635-636, Constantinopolis, Officina B, Heraclius with long bead standing facing, wearing chlamys and crown with cross ornament, and holding globus cruciger, flanked by his two sons, rev. cross potent on four steps, Heraclian monogram in left field, omega in right, CONOB in exergue, 4.45g, 7h (DOC 34; Sear 759; MIBE 40), a few scuffs, otherwise largely centred, lustrous, good very fine.
