Heraclius (610-641), AV Solidus, AD 638-639, Constantinopolis, Officina E, Heraclius with long bead standing facing, wearing chlamys and crown with cross ornament, and holding globus cruciger, flanked by his two sons, rev. cross potent on four steps, Heraclian monogram in left field, K in right, CONOB in exergue (DOC 41c; MIB 48), lightly cleaned with some surface scuffing, otherwise largely centred, lustrous, a bolder very fine.
