Manlia Scantilla. Æ Sestertius (19.74 g), Augusta, AD 193. Rome, under Didius Julianus. MANLIA SCANTILLA AVG, draped bust of Manlia Scantilla right. Reverse: IVNO REGINA around, S C across field, Juno standing to facing, head left, holding patera and scepter; at her feet to left, peacock standing left. RIC 18a; BMC 32. Very Rare. Struck on a narrow flan with a very nice full portrait of Scantilla completely present. Some minor porosity noted about the reverse. We also note an edge scrape on the reverse rim. Very Fine.
