COR SVPERA AVG, diademed and draped bust of Cornelia Supera right, set on a crescent. Reverse: IVNONI AVG, Juno seated left, holding flower and cradling infant in arm. RIC 31; RSC 3. Extremely Rare. Well struck and of amazing quality. Lightly toned with traces of luster present. Every strand of the empress's hair sharp and distinct. Among the finest known! Nearly Mint State. Other than the fact that she was the wife of the short-reigned emperor Aemilian and that she was of the Cornelia gens, nothing is known about the empress Cornelia Supera.
